4 Inch Dryer Vent Cover Outside, Galvanized Steel Hooded Vent Hooded Wall

Why it's a great deal

• SPRING-LOADED BACKDRAFT DAMPER – The damper closes automatically when the exhaust system is off, preventing backdrafts, cold air, dust, and pests from entering through the vent. When the dryer or fan is running, airflow pushes the damper open for unrestricted exhaust. Foam gasket on the damper reduces vibration noise for quieter operation.

• DUAL-ACCESS REMOVABLE SCREEN – The mesh screen can be opened by hand for quick lint and debris removal between loads. A fine 3mm grid keeps birds, rodents, and insects from entering while maintaining steady airflow. The screen removes without tools for routine maintenance.

• HEAVY-DUTY ALL-WEATHER CONSTRUCTION – Built from thick galvanized steel with a weatherproof coating, this vent resists rust, corrosion, and heat. The hooded design deflects rain and snow so the interior stays dry during storms. Suitable for year-round outdoor installation in all climates.

• ADJUSTABLE SPLIT SLEEVE FOR VARIABLE WALL DEPTH – The split sleeve design adapts to different wall thicknesses out of the box — no cutting or custom fitting required. Connects to rigid metal ducts, semi-rigid hoses, PVC dust hoses, or aluminum flex ducts (all compatible). Includes mounting screws, hose clamps, and aluminum foil tape for a complete install.

• WIDE APPLICATION FOR 4-INCH EXHAUST SYSTEMS – Works with laundry dryers, bathroom exhaust fans, kitchen range hoods, basement ventilation, and garage exhaust systems. Designed for exterior wall mounting on siding, brick, wood, or stucco.
