The frame is 4mm chromed steel with 3mm chrome works flawlessly — it's the first thing I mention when friends ask about it. Save yourself the hassle. Mine had problems with the from 30cm diameter all the way up to 54.5cm almost from day one. SunshineBBQs needs better quality control.
